Graziers tackling gully erosion with NQ Dry Tropics

For NQ Dry Tropics and Cinematic Science, we have started filming the workshops in Colinsville and Bowen aimed at tackling gully erosion in the Burdekin Dry Tropics catchment area. The local graziers community is being involved as primary stakeholders on how to achieve long-term sustainable land management on grazing properties.This program is funded by a multi-million dollar Queensland Government grant aimed at reducing gully erosion to reduce the impacts of sediment runoff into the Great Barrier Reef ecosystem.
