The beauty of coral spawning

The sleepless nights have started again for the scientists at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, waiting for the corals of the Great Barrier Reef to spawn in their aquariums. These are some macros that were taken from Acropora Loripes and Acropora Millepora colonies as they spawned, for Cairns - based company Biopixel.tv (note: some of the shots have been sped up).
