ATSIMS 2016

We have been following the steps of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders for Marine Science program for their 2016 season. Students from four schools in regional North Queensland have been selected to participate in this exciting series of reef-based events. They visited the Reef HQ and the Australian Institute of Marine Science on the 13th and 19th May, first steps on their marine journey leading them to Orpheus Island Research Station in the Palm Island Group.
